Licensed Professional Counselor — Camden, SC

Something isn't working the way you want it to. That's enough to start with.

You don't have to think of yourself as a "therapy person." I work with adults — often men who are new to this — on burnout, life transitions, and the sense that things have quietly stopped working. Conversational. Direct. Practical.

"I work with adults who want to understand what's happening and make thoughtful decisions about what comes next."

Burnout, a hard decision, a transition you didn't expect — you don't need the perfect words to begin. My style is conversational and direct, and especially suited to people (often men) who are new to therapy and want a focused conversation, not a process.

Four-Session Track

A structured option: four sessions, a known cost, and a clear endpoint. Good if you want a defined budget and a sense of where the work is headed.

About Beth

A second career built on directness

Before counseling, I taught English and worked as a school counselor in South Carolina. That background shows up in how I work now: I'd rather have a clear, honest conversation than talk around something.

I hold an EdS and I'm licensed as a Professional Counselor in South Carolina (#6072), with 13 years in practice. I work with teens, adults, and elders, from a secular, non-religious perspective, drawing on cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, narrative, and motivational approaches as they fit the person in front of me, not the other way around.
